Having a gallery right next to the river, which is prone to a bit of flooding from time to time, we get rather obsessive over river levels here at the Tithebarn Workshops. So I thought I would show you what difference a days rainfall can make after the long dry spell we’ve been having…

The top left hand side of the image shows over a foot of the Avoncliff Weir wall sticking out above the waterline yesterday… to free flowing water over the top again today.
The right hand image is at Barton Bridge where the loop had been dried up for weeks… to now being full enough for at least a dog to have a paddle!
Told you I was a bit obsessed!!
