These three have become regulars and taken up temporary residence in the gardens here. With a fresh water supply via Vixy’s Cafe dog bowls and lots of attention from customers, they have everything they need!
Well it didn’t take much for Storm Dave to claim his first victim at the Tithebarn Workshops, right outside our gallery at SerenArts. Luckily it fell away from windows and left the wall intact, so no harm done.
We’re all busy down here with lots of people coming down during the Easter break. So why not come along for a stroll around the beautiful Barton Farm Country Park? Then, finish up for coffee and a spot of retail therapy at our open studios.
In between painting some much larger pieces for her upcoming art fairs, Serena has been busy creating a selection of beautiful 4″ x 4″ framed oils for the gallery…
All these miniature works of art are available at SerenArts Gallery now and priced at just £55 each they won’t be on their easels very long!
Why not pop down to the Tithebarn Workshops during the Easter holidays and have a browse?
Our eyes will be on lucky number 7 representing the Tithebarn Workshops this year. Hopefully it won’t be to the same scale at this image or it will never get past the bridge!
The fun starts at 10am on Monday 6th April so make sure you’re at the starting gate for the off!
Yes you read that right!… Free Pizza at the Tithebarn Workshops courtesy of Dough Trail. Make sure you get down nice and early to avoid disappointment as it will only be while stocks last.
Walking along the canal this morning on this beautiful sunny day I noticed the first signs that Easter is on the way… the holiday boats are coming back! Good news for the local businesses as visitor numbers increase and also good news for the wildlife…
We are off to Teddington in London this May 15th to 17th, for the Landmark Spring Art Fair 2026. Serena will be exhibiting on Stand number 34 and we’re really looking forward to meeting new people and showing all her latest works at this established art fair.
Pop the dates in your diary and we would love to see you there.
The venue is the beautiful Landmark Arts Centre, situated in Teddington, right on the banks of the Thames. The spring edition brings together independent artists presenting fresh, original work across painting, sculpture, photography, printmaking, ceramics, mixed media and graphic art. Typically priced between £100 and £1,000, all work is sold directly by the artists, offering a rare opportunity to meet the makers and learn more about their practice.
Just to let everyone know that next week will see the introduction of a stunning new addition to SerenArts Gallery jewellery range.
Ronin are a small company based in South Walesin a village on the edge of the Brecon Beacons National Park, a beautiful part of the world. All their jewellery is handmade on their premises and features hypoallergenic, silver plated posts of the earrings.
They design & creategemstone jewellery, which comes beautifully boxed, making it the ideal gift. There is a tag attached to the necklaces & bracelets with info on the gemstones used.
We’re very excited for the arrival of our first order which should be on display next week.
We have just produced a promotional leaflet to advertise Serena’s portraits and commissions. Demand has been on the rise so this gives prospective clients a bit more information about the process. There is currently a bit of a waiting list, but Serena would be pleased to discuss your requirements, so please contact us any time.
The above image offers a little glimpse at part of the painting process for Serena’s pet portraits. Like with all her figurative work she prefers to start with the eyes as they bring the whole portrait to life. It’s only then that Serena moves on to the furry bit!
