It is now day 58 since we had to close the doors of our beloved gallery and if Boris has got everything spot on… hopefully it won’t be long before we are able to reopen to the public… yippee! According to the Government guidelines, non essential retail (that’s us!) should be able to open their doors again on 1st June. We will, of course, update you should this change.
We have been hard at work during this downtime making sure that the gallery is ready for the ‘new normal’ way of shopping…

There will be plenty of signage to make sure we all obey the social distancing advice and we will be operating a ‘one in one out’ policy to ensure there is minimal contact in the relatively confined space that we have.
We are so looking forward to getting back down to the Tithebarn Workshops again and seeing all our friends and customers. It won’t be the same, but we are confident that things will get back to a sort of normal before too long… although it was never particularly normal down there anyway!!
In addition to reopening we will also be offering some new services to help our customers. The first of these will be a local collection and delivery service for our printing customers who are having to self isolate longer due to health conditions or age. We know how many of you have been creating wonderful artworks during the enforced lockdown… so we will be able to collect the artwork from your home… scan and print your card order at the gallery… and return the completed order safely to you.
Serena is will also be starting a portrait commission service. All she will need is a good quality photograph of you or your loved one and she will produce an oil painting portrait for you.
If you would like more information on any of the services mentioned please feel free to contact us at any time.
Hope to see you all soon.
Mike & Serena
