SerenArts supports The Larks!

serenarts gallery advertising hoarding at larkhall fc

SerenArts is thrilled to share its latest venture of visibility: our advertising hoarding now proudly displayed in front of the latest new terrace at Larkhall Athletic FC’s ground. It’s a vibrant splash of colour that brings the gallery’s creative spirit straight to match day!

With each home game, the hoarding gives fans and visitors a visual taste of the artistic flair on offer back in Bradford-on-Avon. As shared in a previous match report, “Always nice to see your name on an advertising hoarding!”—and SerenArts is doing just that. This marks a new milestone in the gallery’s local community engagement, strengthening ties between the worlds of sport and art.

Visitors heading to Larkhall will catch a glimpse of SerenArts’ commitment to supporting regional sport, all while promoting original artwork, printing and more. We’re proud to stand with The Larks and excited to welcome locals to come and explore our gallery, the Tithebarn Workshops and the Barton Farm area.

Bradford on Avon Walking Festival 2025

bradford on avon walking festival

Step into the watery wonderland of the Bradford on Avon Walking Festival, returning on 6–7 September 2025 with a captivating two‑day programme for walkers of all abilities  .

This year’s festival embraces a “watery” theme, offering 13 guided walks that thread through the winding river Avon, historic canals, and lush water meadows. Whether you’re craving a gentle riverside amble or a demanding full‑day trek, there’s something for everyone  .

Saturday highlights include:

  • A demanding all‑day 11.5‑mile walk through Lacock’s water meadows (09:00 start; £6; bring a picnic).
  • A moderate 5‑mile journey exploring Bath‑stone quarrying, also beginning at 10:00 (£6).
  • Evening walks such as the atmospheric “Bats on the River and Canal” torchlit stroll (19:30; easy; £5), and a sunset ascent of Solsbury Hill (17:00; moderate; £8)  .

Sunday brings more discovery:

  • A demanding 13‑mile riverside walk to Bath (09:00; £6).
  • A moderate 8‑mile route across tributaries and historic mills (10:00; £5).
  • Eco‑focused shorter walks such as the Claverton Pumping Station tour (£8 adults/£2 U16) and an ecology explorer’s ramble along the Avon and Frome (10:15; £5)  .

Walk tickets go on sale from 15 July 2025  . Most walks begin at the Explore BoA tourist information centre by the Town Bridge (BA15 1DE)  . Costs are modest (£4–£8), and group sizes are limited—so booking early is wise.

Sturdy boots, rainproof gear, and at least 2 litres of water are essential for all walks  . Whether you’re intrigued by industrial heritage, local batlife, or stunning landscapes, this festival is a celebration of nature, community and discovery.

Many More to Come…

serenarts gallery

This month marks a special milestone for SerenArts Gallery – two incredible years in Unit 1 of the Tithebarn Workshops. After 14 wonderful years in Unit 3, the move was a big step, but what an inspiring journey it has been. The new space has breathed fresh energy into the gallery, allowing for more creativity, better displays, and a warmer welcome to our ever-growing community of visitors and art lovers.

SerenArts continues to evolve, offering a vibrant collection of original artwork, prints, cards and gifts, as well as a custom printing and photocopying service. The light and spacious new unit layout has become a hub for creativity, conversation and connection – all things we love.

Looking back, we are immensely grateful for the support that’s helped us flourish. Looking forward, we’re excited to keep growing, creating and sharing the beauty of our work with everyone who walks through our doors.

Here’s to two years in Unit 1 – and to many more to come! If you haven’t visited yet, come and see what makes this space so special. You’re always welcome at SerenArts Gallery.

Make Yourself at Home!

It might have been the drizzle this morning, or it could have been the lure of the comfy chairs at SerenArts Gallery, but whatever it was this little chap certainly seemed to settle in…

Bloomin Marvellous

There’s something wonderfully soothing about a little retail therapy — especially when it comes with a side of blooming beauty!

A stroll through the Tithebarn Workshops is more than just a shopping trip; it’s a feast for the senses. With summer just around the corner the garden is bursting into colour with vibrant blossoms, making your visit a breath of fresh air. Whether you’re browsing handmade crafts, picking up unique gifts, or simply treating yourself, the charm of each workshop is elevated by the floral backdrop just outside.

Take a moment between shops to pause in the garden, perhaps stop for a coffee, listen to the bees, and soak in the colours. It’s a reminder that retail therapy isn’t just about what you buy — it’s about how you feel. And here at the Workshops, surrounded by flowers and creativity, it’s easy to feel inspired, relaxed, and refreshed.

We hope to see you down here soon.
