Steve Hall is one of our longest standing clients and a wonderful watercolour artist based in Bradford Leigh, Bradford on Avon. This superb picture of an elephant is one of Steve’s first forays into the world oil painting…
As part of his work Steve performs demonstrations on how to paint with watercolour, as his loose style allows him to create pieces in around 30 minutes. He has found that oils take somewhat longer to paint! Well worth the extra time we think though.

They are taken from scans of original pastels done by Derek Fuller in 2006. Derek has since sadly passed away, but his wife wanted to have these charming images printed on cards to give to the family. Although a qualified joiner, it is clear that Derek could turn his hand to other artistic areas as well.
