Week one in our lovely new gallery complete. We have completed our first full week of trading and it has been a great success. Thank you to all our regular Unit 3 customers who came to see our beautiful new space and a very big welcome to all the new people through the doors.
We also wanted to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to our extended Workshops family for their help and encouragement during the refurb, with a special mention going to our wizards Tim Harper and Felix Byrne. Between these two craftsmen we have been given the most amazing creative workspace. Utilising many of the materials recycled from the building they have rejuvenated the unit and made a stunning gallery. Thank you.
It has certainly taken its time this year but Spring how appears to be here in all its beautiful colours. The cherry trees are full of blossom and the flower beds are showing their true colours again.
Why not pop down to the Tithebarn Workshops and give yourself a little lift? It really is a lovely place to spend some time.
Here we are… still going strong after 14 years at the Tithebarn Workshops. We’ve seen some coming and some goings… some good times and some not so good, but we wouldn’t swap this for anything!
We just want to say a very big thank you to all those customers, family and friends that have supported us during our time here and look forward to another great year in 2023.
Apologies for not posting earlier, but we feel like our feet haven’t touched the ground for the last couple of weeks! Serena and I have been working really hard to put together the stand at the Royal Bath & West Show this year… and it was brilliant!
As I mentioned in previous posts, we had a joint stand with fellow artist and friend Steve Hall. A massive thank you to Steve for all he has done towards this exciting venture… we couldn’t have done it without him. We would also like to thank and recommend the suppliers of the clip together board and lighting system that we used to hang the paintings. Clip (clipuk.com) in Warmley, near Bristol were excellent and the product worked a treat… thank you.
It was three very long and busy days and we had a fantastic time. There were huge crowds on all three day so lots of new leads, brochures given out and, rather nicely, sales too! (Oh, and a fair bit of fudge consumed too!).
What we didn’t sell at the Show is now hanging back at our gallery and Serena is full of enthusiasm and already painting again.
We have just been told that the brochures for this years Cloth Road Arts Week have now been printed and are ready to be picked up tomorrow. We will have them available at SerenArts Gallery from Thursday.
We’ve also been personalising the promotional posters for down here at the Tithebarn Workshops…
We are all looking forward to welcoming lots of people to this beautiful corner of Bradford on Avon.
A Serene View of poetry features a collection of original paintings in a range of different media by local artist Serena, along with a selection of her complementary poems and haiku.
You can pick up a copy at the gallery or order online from this website.
We have actually started one of our New Years projects a little early and have begun to add all our printing and design services to the main SerenArts Gallery website / blog…
So whether it is a book printing job or simply a photocopy you are looking for, you will be able to find it all in one place.
Please come back again soon to see what has been added.
Before opening up SerenArts Gallery this morning I went for a walk up through town to Tory to enjoy the glorious start to the day.
I never stop feeling how lucky we are to live in this beautiful town and thought I would just share a few quick snaps of the views across Bradford in the morning sunshine… more of this glorious weather please!
