- A demanding all‑day 11.5‑mile walk through Lacock’s water meadows (09:00 start; £6; bring a picnic).
- A moderate 5‑mile journey exploring Bath‑stone quarrying, also beginning at 10:00 (£6).
- Evening walks such as the atmospheric “Bats on the River and Canal” torchlit stroll (19:30; easy; £5), and a sunset ascent of Solsbury Hill (17:00; moderate; £8) .
Sunday brings more discovery:
- A demanding 13‑mile riverside walk to Bath (09:00; £6).
- A moderate 8‑mile route across tributaries and historic mills (10:00; £5).
