Coo… what a palaver!
Well haven’t we had fun and shenanigans since Sunday evening? We had one of those big ideas to revamp the gallery and here we are… it’s Wednesday and still the floor isn’t dry! Still, it’s nothing that a few well placed rugs hasn’t resolved.
It’s been a couple of days of hard graft, but we now have a completely new collection of photographic art adorning the walls, beautiful new window displays (please don’t ask about the origami birds though!) and a lovely bright new floor.
You might also notice from the photos above that we will shortly be offering our unique range of glass art lamps again. We’re very excited about these as it’s been a few years since we’ve been able to get the blank lamps.
We hope to see everyone down here at the Tithebarn Workshops soon.
Serena has been incredibly busy with the glass paints in her studio and has produced a fantastic collection of glass art vases which are now available at SerenArts Gallery, Tithebarn Workshops.
These lovely pieces are very reasonably priced and all completely unique, so why not pop down and pick one up soon.
A beautiful range of greeting cards taken from original watercolour drawings by Serena Pugh and available from our Gallery at the Tithebarn Workshops.
The Tides & Toes Card Range depicts beach scenes of children enjoying the delights of the beach and might well bring back happy memories of childhood.
The cards are all printed by SerenArts Design & Printing Services. If you have some artwork or photography you would like turned into greeting cards, we would be happy to help. Here at the Tithebarn Workshops, we regularly get asked if we have any bread for the ducks that congregate around the Packhorse Bridge in Barton Farm. Rather than the tearooms for spare bread rolls, we decided to get in a supply of a complete duck and swan food which is now available from our gallery at just £1 a bag…
It is widely thought that the feeding of bread to ducks can be harmful to the birds themselves, as well as contributing to other problems to the river ways.
So… no more bread!… pop into SerenArts Gallery and get some proper duck tucker!

This stunning collection is from a French company who are new to the market and have been turning a lot of heads at the trade shows this year. We’re pleased to say that we have secured the range for our shop and it will be available to buy later today. It’s different, stylish and affordable, so pop down soon to have a look!
We have also just taken delivery of some great additions to our designer clothing range, including some gorgeous linen tops in great summer colours.

It arrived in the gallery yesterday and is out on display just in time for Fathers Day!

This idyllic manor house in France has recently been bought by a client of SerenArts and is now a bed and breakfast for those wanting to experience a little bit of rural France in style.
We were asked to design a new promotional leaflet based on the original flyer that was in French. This called for some linguistic expertise that we did not process, so we called on the services of one G F Pugh (my Dad!). For those of you of a certain age, this name may seem familiar, as it was he who was jointly responsible for creating the Longmans Audio Visual French series of school texts books that every child had to recite regardless of what educational establishment you attended. With his translation and our graphic design ability, we have created this very informative leaflet…
