This Sunday see the gardens of the Tithebarn Workshops, once again, turned into a feast of arts, music, food and drink. The Summer Fayre runs from 10am to 4pm, but may well continue on, weather depending!
Following on from the success of our previous seasonal events, the Summer Fayre promises to be another great day out for the whole family.
We hope to see you all down at the Barton Farm this Sunday!

We have recently opened up our first Etsy shop to promote and sell Serena’s range of fine art prints that we offer.
The best way to get hold of Serena’s artwork is to come and meet the artist at our beautiful gallery, at the Tithebarn Workshops, and buy it in person. But if you’re not able to get to Bradford on Avon then our new Etsy outlet is a great place to obtain a giclee print. A larger range of original artwork and prints are also available from Serena’s website.
We can’t believe its been almost a year since we moved into our beautiful new gallery at the Tithebarn Workshops. The time has just flown by in our first eventful year… here’s to many more!
We are very pleased to be part of the Green Man Festival again this year. There will be all sorts going on at the Tithebarn Workshops this Saturday as part of the festivities, so come on down and spend a fabulous day around Barton Farm.
As well as all the studios being open there will be food stalls, a bar, music, dancing and all round great fun!
A big thank you to everyone who contributed towards making yesterday’s Spring Fling such a great success. There was a fantastic atmosphere in the much needed sunshine and we must have got more vitamin D than from the rest of the whole year put together!
Already looking forward to the next event at the Tithebarn Workshops.
Those of you passing by or visiting the Tithebarn Workshops will notice our new signage is popping up around the garden. This is all part of the updating and new look for the Workshops which reflects the energy of the resident artists and vibrant colours of the studios.
Just a little reminder about this weekends Spring Fling in the garden here, which all kicks off at 10am…
With just a couple of weeks to go now until the Tithebarn Workshops Spring Fling, we thought we would share some of the promotional images that have been created to advertise this event…
The team at the Tithebarn Workshops now includes…
In addition to these lovely people, we would also have live music, art stalls in the garden, food, a bar and much more…
We hope to see you all very soon for some flinging in the garden!
Just a quick heads up to let you know about another fun event taking place at the Tithebarn Workshops next month. More details will follow but you can pop 20th April into your diaries if you like. It would be great to see everyone here again.
With temperatures in the negative you would think we might not be quite so happy with our lovely gallery… even with the door wide open! However, we really are lucky to have this beautiful space to come to each day. The sun is shining and the ice on the inside of windows is melting!
A busy day too, on the road outside the front of the gallery!…
It’s all go here! If you can cope with pace of life, why not pop down for a coffee and a wander around the Tithebarn Workshops and Barton Farm?
This amazing photo, taken from a video posted on Spotted in Bradford, shows the extent of the flooding around Barton Farm. We were lucky to get away with the amount of flooding we did get this time. It could’ve been a whole lot worse.
There is always a lot of talk after an event like this happens. We remember the big plans that were discussed after the 2013 floods, which were worse for us. Eventually after much consulting and planning, very little was done apart from the Bullpit flood defence wall. After being deployed only a handful of times, this was then dropped as a bad idea due to a number of reasons including health and safety.
Perhaps this time around a firm flood plan can be put in place and maybe some assistance for those worst hit, as Wiltshire Councillor Tim Trimble suggested in an article on the BBC News website this morning.
Hopefully this doesn’t come over as whiny as we knew the risks of being next to the river when we moved to the Tithebarn Workshops over 15 years ago. We are extremely lucky to have our beautiful gallery in such a superb setting and we accept the highs and the lows (literally!). Good luck to all those clearing up.
