It’s that time of year when you have a bit more time to get things done, so we have been revamping the Tithebarn Workshops website ready for the coming year…

Yes… that is ice you can see forming on the canal! A very chilly start to the day on my morning walk. It’s going to be a ‘winter closed door policy’ at the gallery today!
I also noticed that the canal towpath is going to be closed from Bradford to Avoncliff for an extended period. The water level is going to be dropped by 100mm and repairs undertaken on the embankment. On the plus side, the mud on the river walk is frozen solid so you won’t get muddy going that way!
I was going back through some of our earlier posts and came across one I did after the first week of Lockdown 1. We were promoting our book design and printing services to those of you who now had the time to write that book you’d always talked about. After all the subsequent incarcerations you should be finished by now and looking to get yourself published!
Here at SerenArts we can take your draft book and guide you through all the stages to getting to publication and welcome your active input at every stage. For example, we have just been commissioned to design a book of watercolour paintings taken from a large collection of sketch books. The sketches are by a lady who recently passed away and her son wants her paintings to be shared with family, friends and the public.

We have actually started one of our New Years projects a little early and have begun to add all our printing and design services to the main SerenArts Gallery website / blog…
So whether it is a book printing job or simply a photocopy you are looking for, you will be able to find it all in one place.

SerenArts Gallery are very pleased to announce that we will be taking part in next years Cloth Road Arts Week. It’s a good few years since we last took part so we have joined forces with the other units at the Tithebarn Workshops to create a proper destination for art lovers.

OK… I’m going to own up… I took the mickey out of Serena for offering free keyrings promoting the gallery to gain followers on her Instagram account. I said she was buying friends! Now I feel guilty and want to help, so thought I would promote her wonderful work on our blog as well!
