Work has started on the repainting at the Tithebarn Workshops. This time we have decided to all go for a different colour on each unit! We have gone for a beautiful blue and Mary has gone for a lovely dusky pink. Keep an eye out for who goes for what colour!
Good to see the Bradford on Avon Food and Drink Festival setting up just up the road from us again this morning. Let’s hope its a great success and brings the punters down to our beautiful little corner of Bradford.
There’s always plenty to do and see around the Tithebarn Workshops… the units are open… the cafes are ready to go… the paddle board hire firms are setting up… the sun is shining… so why not come on down and soak up the atmosphere?

Apologies for not posting earlier, but we feel like our feet haven’t touched the ground for the last couple of weeks! Serena and I have been working really hard to put together the stand at the Royal Bath & West Show this year… and it was brilliant!
As I mentioned in previous posts, we had a joint stand with fellow artist and friend Steve Hall. A massive thank you to Steve for all he has done towards this exciting venture… we couldn’t have done it without him. We would also like to thank and recommend the suppliers of the clip together board and lighting system that we used to hang the paintings. Clip (clipuk.com) in Warmley, near Bristol were excellent and the product worked a treat… thank you.
It was three very long and busy days and we had a fantastic time. There were huge crowds on all three day so lots of new leads, brochures given out and, rather nicely, sales too! (Oh, and a fair bit of fudge consumed too!).
What we didn’t sell at the Show is now hanging back at our gallery and Serena is full of enthusiasm and already painting again.
Well it was all happening down at Barton Farm this morning…
An early start to wake up Jack and then everyone headed off down into town for more fun and festivities at the Green Man Festival. Why not pop in and visit Jackie and Karen’s stall in Westbury Gardens? There will be more going on around the Tithebarn Workshops this afternoon with dancing and music.
Why not pop down for a browse around the workshops and enjoy some of the wonderful artwork created for this weeks festivities…
Above are the various artists taking part this week, offering a diverse selection of work across a broad range of media. Just look out for the bright door signs and enjoy the artwork…
What a beautiful morning down at the Tithebarn Workshops on this Easter Sunday. We’re all ready and set up at SerenArts Gallery. The bunting, the chairs and table, the stock and even the cherry blossom are all out…
There’s plenty to do and see around Barton Farm Country Park. Take a paddle in the river, feed the ducks, a nice stroll along the canal and maybe check out the exhibition in the West Barn today and tomorrow.
Then relax in our peaceful garden and enjoy a little bit of retail therapy!
We have just been told that the brochures for this years Cloth Road Arts Week have now been printed and are ready to be picked up tomorrow. We will have them available at SerenArts Gallery from Thursday.
We’ve also been personalising the promotional posters for down here at the Tithebarn Workshops…
We are all looking forward to welcoming lots of people to this beautiful corner of Bradford on Avon.
Not much chance of spotting the kingfishers that regularly visit the Barton Bridge area this morning…
Some much needed tree chopping over at the Rowing Club has meant frequent trips through the ford and over the bridge for this tractor and trailer. It always looks a bit odd seeing vehicles on Barton Bridge!
These beautiful blooms popped up recently around the stump of the old cherry tree that came down in the storms a few years ago. A little bit of spring in the garden at the Tithebarn Workshops.
Another day… another delivery… and this time we have just got in a fabulous new range of jewellery to add to our collection at SerenArts Gallery…
Above are just a few of the many beautiful pieces that have arrived. What better time to pop down to the Tithebarn Workshops and pick up a Valentine’s Day gift…
