When we first heard about Art in the Pen we thought it sounded like an innovative and very cool way to utilise a functional space like a cattle mart. Little did we know just how magical this building could become in the hands of Andrew and his incredible team up in Skipton, North Yorkshire.

Over 200 wonderfully creative people coming together to sell their art in its many forms; from silk work, metal, wood and textiles to photography, jewellery, ceramics, fine art paintings and more. It really was an art lovers wonderland and we would like to say a huge thank you for inviting us to join in.

Over the two busy days we chatted to the many visitors and collectors that came by our pen and as a bonus, managed to sell 8 original artworks, as well as cards and prints.

A very long trip up and hard work… but how worthwhile and wonderful it was.
