It might have been the drizzle this morning, or it could have been the lure of the comfy chairs at SerenArts Gallery, but whatever it was this little chap certainly seemed to settle in…

Well this is very exciting! Yesterday we got an email saying that a pitch (or more acurately, a pen) had become available at this years Art in the Pen. So we are off the Skipton in August!
Serena will be one of over 200 creatives showcasing their work at this year’s Art in the Pen, held on 16 & 17 August 2025 at Skipton Auction Mart, Gargrave Road.
Now in its 19th year, the event transforms Skipton’s cattle pens into a bustling art hub, where visitors can explore paintings, ceramics, textiles and more in a friendly, relaxed atmosphere. Tickets (£6, under‑16s free) grant access to two days of discovery and creativity .
It will be great to be out and about again and we are excited to reconnect with collectors and first‑time art buyers alike, sharing the latest works.
Whether you’re hunting for an affordable art gem or simply soaking up the creative energy, Art in the Pen promises a warm, inspiring weekend. Come and meet us and explore the fabulous selection of art.
There’s something wonderfully soothing about a little retail therapy — especially when it comes with a side of blooming beauty!
A stroll through the Tithebarn Workshops is more than just a shopping trip; it’s a feast for the senses. With summer just around the corner the garden is bursting into colour with vibrant blossoms, making your visit a breath of fresh air. Whether you’re browsing handmade crafts, picking up unique gifts, or simply treating yourself, the charm of each workshop is elevated by the floral backdrop just outside.
Take a moment between shops to pause in the garden, perhaps stop for a coffee, listen to the bees, and soak in the colours. It’s a reminder that retail therapy isn’t just about what you buy — it’s about how you feel. And here at the Workshops, surrounded by flowers and creativity, it’s easy to feel inspired, relaxed, and refreshed.
It’s now less than a month to go before we launch our first on-site exhibition of Serena’s latest artworks. Preperations are well advanced and we are looking forward to welcoming everyone down next month.
If you would like any further information or an invitation to the preview evening on Friday 20th June, please just drop us a line and we can sort that out for you.
