We just wanted to say a big thank you and good luck to all those taking part in the Big Bradford on Avon River Clean today.

Volunteers are being encouraged by John and Annette Seekings to help with the clean up between Avoncliff and Greenland from 9am to noon and 2pm to 5pm today.  The banks of the Avon got an absolute battering from the floods this Christmas and, as ever, when this happens a great deal of rubbish is left high and dry in the trees and bank foliage.

Members of the Bradford Rowing Club and the angling community are all involved and for anyone interested in lending a hand, there will be a supply of black plastic rubbish bags on the McKeever footbridge and full bags will need to be left on a special site immediately downstream of Barton Bridge.
