With Valentine’s Day approaching fast, we just wanted to give all you loving couples out there the opportunity to get a little gift for your partner…
So when flowers don’t quite say enough… pop down to our gallery and pick up something special!
According to an article in the Telegraph today paintings which feature the colour red are likely to rise in value thanks to the booming Chinese market. According to a Sotheby’s spokesperson
“Red is the most emotive colour in art. It’s powerful, it’s lucky in many nations – for example for the Chinese. We’ve often seen a price correlation in that red paintings have performed better than other works”.
The colour, which is already known in the industry to raise the value of paintings, is considered lucky in the growing Asian markets.
We’re hoping that Serena’s latest glass art painting will sell rather quickly then…
I would like to say that this was as a result of us having our finger firmly on the pulse of trends in the art world… but it was more just a lucky coincidence!
We would like to make a quick post to show you all our range of Poppy Cards that are available in the gallery…
These lovely cards have proved extremely popular with our customers.
They are printed using images taken of Serena’s amazing glass art lamp range. Measuring 185mm x 75mm and packed in individual cellophane bags with quality envelopes.
Anyone wishing to order online can do so by contacting us at any time.
We would also be happy to supply these cards on a wholesale basis to shops who wish to stock them. Contact us for more information.
Firstly, my apologies for not posting for a while. We have been very busy with a new project… We have been asked to produce the design for the new Cloth Road Arts Week Brochure…
Having been part of Cloth Road for number of years now, it was great to be given the opportunity to be involved at a design level. We will keep you up to date with the news of this fantastic event as we get it and hope everyone will be able to follow the trail of excellent artists in May.
On another subject, we would also like you all to know that our new jewellery has now come in. We hope to see you soon…. while stocks last!
Here is the latest of Serena’s glass paintings depicting an alpine scene. It measures 18″ x 12″ and is painted in the same freestyle, impressionist technique as the previous piece…
There will be more to come soon as Serena has got the bit between her teeth at the moment with the glass paints!
SerenArts Gallery is now live on Google Business Photos… All you need to do is put our name into Google and up we pop! To have a look round our gallery you can just click on the image below and click on the See Inside image…
We look forward to seeing you in person soon though!
We have just come back from a very exciting Trade Show in Exeter and have overspent as usual! In the coming weeks we will be getting in a selection of fantastic new jewellery…
We hope to see you in the near future to check out the latest editions to our range.
Due to supply problems with our glass art lamp blanks, we have been looking for alternatives that would fit in with our range of artistic products. We have sourced these beautiful, paper lamps that look great with the water based paints that Serena uses for the lamps and cards we produce…
These new lamps will be available in the usual range of colours that we carry and we will also be creating a range of brand new designs in the coming weeks.
Watch this space for more information!…
Serena has been hard at work trying to replace some of the lost stock and here is the latest addition to her glass art collection…
This striking piece measuring 12″ x 12″, is painted in a freestyle, solvents and impressionist style. There will be more coming over the next few days, but in the meantime, we hope you enjoy this lovely picture.
