Just a quick post to let everyone know that we have lots of new jewellery coming in with all new designs and styles…
We will be getting more stock in over the coming days, so please come down and have a look soon.
This year marks the 50th year for the Bradford on Avon Preservation Trust.
We have been asked to produce a range of printed promotional wall hanging depicting the history of Bradford and the Trust’s involvement in the Town over the years. This is a very exciting job for us and we will keep you up to date with the dates of the exhibitions and events later in the year, which have been organised to celebrate this anniversary.
Rather apt that it was also my 50th year this year as the dates above confirm!
There are a few changes coming at the Tithebarn Workshops in the shape of a Workshop share with Sotos at the Barn Owl Gallery. As soon as we have more details we will pass them on, but there are potentially 2 new artists joining the ranks here and sharing the space in the workshop. We will keep you posted…
We are very pleased to announce that the Cloth Road Arts Week Brochure for 2014 has now been printed and is ready for distribution.
SerenArts have been extremely proud to be part of this years event at the design stage and we are now looking forward to participating as exhibitors this May, as part of the Tithebarn Workshops entry.
We will continue to keep you updated with news as and when we receive it and look forward to seeing everybody later in the year…
Our apologies for not posting for a week, but we have been away for a rather big birthday celebration! We went to the stunning island of La Graciosa, a short ferry ride off Lanzarote in the Canary Islands.
An amazingly peaceful and tranquil place to spend a week getting away from the awful weather we’ve been having and the prefect place to celebrate your Birthday. The island only has 500 inhabitants, no tarmac roads and just a few 4×4 Land Rover taxis to get you around. Rugged sand tracks lead around the interior of the island and reveal tiny coves and sandy beaches with nobody on them. If you ever feel like just getting away from everything then this is the place.
We promise to get back to regular posts from now!
A quick update on the Cloth Road Arts Week 2014. The artwork is all complete now and ready to go to print. There is an extremely diverse range of entrants this year with an amazing array of work. We have put just a couple of the images provided in a gallery below for you to enjoy. Please come back for updates to the programme and further details.
For more information about the artists involved in 2014 please visit the Cloth Road website…
Just a quick post to show you Serena’s latest pet portrait…
Our client was naturally very happy with the results!
For more information about our pet portraits please contact us at any time.
We are always trying to get new and unique designs in to add to our jewellery collections. As a result of this, we have some stunning new necklaces and earrings coming in this week after our visit to the Spring Fair last week…
Come on down and check out the latest pieces while stocks last!
Despite a very severe flood warning being issued for Bradford and the river coming up fast, this time we got away with it! We did decide to move everything up to be on the safe side, so it will be tomorrow now that we reopen.
We just wanted to thank all our friends, family and customers who, again, came to our aid with offers of help. Let’s hope that this is the end of it for this year …. Please!
Thank you very much to the Local Life magazine for their article about the floods in Bradford on Avon. It’s not quite the way we wanted to get free advertising, but it does showcase our photograph and the optimism we all have down here…
As the rain continues to fall, we do hope this isn’t tempting fate slightly by posting this, but we do remain ‘upbeat’!
