The final last few touches are being added and the last few paintings being framed, because this time next week we will be open for business at the Bath Art Fair 2024.
Serena completed this lovely charcoal drawing of a highland cow yesterday and he will be alongside a couple of other charcoal images at the Fair. As you know, Serena has a very diverse style of painting, covering many subjects and media. This will be reflected in the eclectic range of works we are taking with us to the Pavilion.
We very much hope to see you there over the weekend of 24th / 25th February.
Only 37 sleeps until this years Bath ArtFair, which will be held again at the splendid Bath Pavilion.
Things have been moving on a pace with the preparations and we’re really looking forward to exhibiting again after such a successful time last year. For anyone who hasn’t been to the Fair, we would thoroughly recommend it. With a collection of over 90 artists, sculptors, glass artists and other clever people, it is certainly a great way to feed the creative soul.
This time our stand number is 35. It is actually in the same spot as last year, but just renumbered! Opening evening is on Friday 23rd February and if you hurry, you can still get tickets. For Saturday 24th and Sunday 25th February there are still tickets available and these can be obtained here.
Serena has been very busy creating lots of new work which you can have a sneak preview of on her Instagram.
From the newly repaired entrance wall to the lovely new members of the Tithebarn Workshops Team… a warm welcome awaits you.
New cafe owner Vicky, Jade at Unit 5 and Natasha at Unit 8 are all now fully open and a whole new era is starting here at the Workshops. Meet the team:
We are getting geared up for the Christmas shopping rush (yes, we’re allowed to say that now!). The shops will not only have the amazing artwork and creations available to purchase from the makers, but also an array of gifts and cards.
Finally, another little nod towards the Autumn Fair that we have coming up on Saturday 28th October 2023.
To complement the units, we already have a great selection of stalls booked and raring to go in the garden for the day, as well as a live music program, creative demonstrations and more. It promises to be a great day so we hope to see you all there.

We have just about got everything back to normal in the gallery after last weekend Art Fair in Epsom. We had a great weekend, sold a couple of pieces and made some lovely new friends. Now that we’re back, we have lots of new works up on the walls and a sale rack full to bursting with arty bargains!
Serena is already creating some beautiful new little works which will be framed up and ready shortly. Plenty to come down to the Tithebarn Workshops and look at.
We were very kindly invited to another home game ofLarkhall Athletic FC by President Steve Hall from Bradford Gallery. Unfortunately we didn’t bring them much luck as they went down 3-1 to a spirited Bishops Cleeve side. However, a great night for everyone involved and, as ever, a warm and friendly welcome from the lovely people who run this great community club.
Always nice to see your name on an advertising hoarding!
A huge thank you to Steve for a splendid evening and good luck to the Larks for the rest of the season.
We would also like to draw your attention to a new page in our online shop: ‘Kingfishers‘. We have selected a few of the best selling kingfisher related items in our gallery and made them available online.
For more information please contact us at any time.
Firstly we would like to welcome the new arrivals at the Tithebarn Workshops. Things have been changing recently and in the coming weeks we will have not one, but two new workshop owners…
Jade Pinnell Glass
Jade is an original cast glass sculpture and will be taking over in Unit 5. You can see some of her beautiful work on her website jadepinnellglass.com. Once established, Jade will be offering classes so keep in touch to find out more details.
Natasha Sweeting
Natasha is a Tanzanian artist living in Bradford on Avon. Her work is heavily influenced by her birthplace and where she has spent much of my adult life, Dar-es-Salaam. A city of cultural diversity, a juxtaposition of religious beliefs and layer upon layer of complexity. Natasha is currently refurbing and will then move into Unit 8.
As for SerenArts… well Serena is currently painting up a storm for the upcoming Surrey Art Fair at Epsom Downs Racecourse. We will bring you more information about this exciting event as it draws nearer to the opening night of 6th October.
Our first two months in our lovely new unit have now passed and it feels like we’ve always been here. This wonderful creative space inspires us both every day we come down… which has been pretty much every day to be honest!
SerenArts Gallery is now offering a collection of mugs featuring Serena’s artwork…
They come with a range of different designs, each mug is individually boxed and is dishwasher and microwave safe. The image appears on both sides of the mug. Either pop into our gallery at the Tithebarn Workshops, or you can buy online.
We are very pleased to announce the return of our printed tea towels at SerenArts Gallery. They are 100% cotton, made in the UK and feature Serena’s artwork. Here are a selection of the designs available…
You can either pop down to the Tithebarn Workshops, where we have the tea towels in our gallery at £12 each, or you can purchase online from this website at £14.95 to cover shipping.
We wouldn’t normally be producing our Bradford on Avon calendar this early in the year, but we have had a number of requests for the 2024 calendar, so they are now available to purchase from this site or from our gallery at the Tithebarn Workshops.
We have also done a 2024 Art Calendar featuring some of Serena’s work. This is also an A4, wall hanging calendar.

Week one in our lovely new gallery complete. We have completed our first full week of trading and it has been a great success. Thank you to all our regular Unit 3 customers who came to see our beautiful new space and a very big welcome to all the new people through the doors.
We also wanted to take this opportunity to say a huge thank you to our extended Workshops family for their help and encouragement during the refurb, with a special mention going to our wizards Tim Harper and Felix Byrne. Between these two craftsmen we have been given the most amazing creative workspace. Utilising many of the materials recycled from the building they have rejuvenated the unit and made a stunning gallery. Thank you.
