We have now got our 2015 Bradford on Avon calendar printed and available in the Gallery at just £6.95 each. It features 12 of Serena’s photographs of Bradford taken recently and has plenty of space to write those appointments in the new year…

1000 Years of Barton Farm

We hoped to get this post out a bit sooner, but things have been very busy at SerenArts Gallery and I’m afraid that Blogging has had to take a back seat.

We just wanted to say congratulations to the Bradford Preservation Trust on their latest exhibition at the West Barn. We were very pleased to be involved in creating the artwork for the boards and glad that the turn out has been so good this week. I’m sure we will see this exhibition again at some point as it was so interesting to Bradfordians, showing the long history of this beautiful area.

Bradford on Avon Preservation Trust

It’s a busy time at the Bradford on Avon Preservation Trust. We have just completed the design and printing job for the first of two exhibitions to be held in Bradford.

The first is to celebrate the 50th anniversary of the Trust and will be held at two separate venues: Sat 13 – Sun 14 September Priory Barn, Newtown Tue 16 – Sat 20 September The Vaults, Lamb Yard 11am – 5pm each day…

Our job was to compile and print 18 x A1 display boards depicting the history of the Trust and Bradford on Avon. Here are just a couple of examples to wet your appetite!…

New Designer Clothing

It only seems right that now we have all these lovely new paintings and canvases in the gallery, that we bring in new designer clothing to add to our range. So, we visited the Pure Exhibition at Olympia in London and did just that!…

These are a few examples that we have added today and there are more to follow over the coming weeks.

There really are some lovely pieces and we hope to see you soon to check out the new stock.

New Look

Sorry we haven’t been posting much recently, but this has been due a slight hangover (metaphorically speaking!) and the fact that things have been very busy at SerenArts Gallery.

We have managed to revamp the gallery however, and here are the results…

We would like to say a big THANK YOU to all those who came along to the opening night of Serena’s 2014 Exhibition last night.

It was a great success and will now run for the next 3 days, until Sunday afternoon at 5pm. (10am – 5pm daily).

There was a great reaction to Serena’s new body of work, which includes Glass Art and Photographic Art and lots of nice chat and wine! (Plenty left if would like to pop by!).

It was lovely to see the amount of support for local art in Bradford on Avon.

2014 Exhibition at the West Barn

Art Book

We are proud to announce that SerenArts Gallery has been commissioned to format a new Art Book, depicting works by local man, Adrian Dark.

Adrian has been a customer of ours for some years and we have helped reproduce some of his amazing drawings as fine art prints.

The commission has come from the local Preservation Trust, who would like the wider public to have the opportunity to see Adrian’s work. He has over 100 drawings of Bradford on Avon buildings to choose from and we are very excited to be involved in a creative role.

New Book Project

We were very pleased to help out with the formatting of a new book by Alison Bourchier, which has been illustrated by Tithebarn Workshop artist Pip Falkner-Lee.

It was particularly apt that we should be asked to help with this French book as my father was one of the original authors of the Longmans Audio Visual French books, that we all grew up to either love or hate! Did anyone really care whether it was Claudette or Jean-Paul who was dans le jardin?!

Here are just a selection of pages from the new book which is aimed at young school children starting out on their quest to conquer the French language…
