The weather is absolutely wonderful and the customers are out in force, doing their Christmas shopping.

One of our regular clients brought in some old family photos yesterday, to have prints made of them. We offer a restoration service for damaged photographs and can then print the results for you.
This particular photo of her father, who celebrates his 91st birthday this coming week, was taken when he was stationed in Iceland in 1945….

It takes a couple of read throughs, but we loved the name of the Camp!… Quit Your Belly Aching!! The powers that be were obviously not impressed and it had to be renamed, but not before this lovely picture was taken.

Local watercolour artist and football fan Steve Hall, has asked us to print posters and brochures to promote an upcoming charity event to raise money for Larkhall Athletic Football Club…
If you would like more information about this event, you can visit Steve’s website and maybe purchase one of his stunning watercolour paintings, prior to the sale date on 25th October 2014. Steve’s paintings feature in many galleries around the country and this is a rare opportunity to obtain an original watercolour at a greatly reduced price.

We have been given another project by artist Anthony Pates. He has restored 3 old works showing local scenes and wanted them making into postcards…
Anthony was recently named Oldie British Artist (OBA) 2014, with a painting described by judges as ‘in the great English landscape tradition’. The award, launched three years ago by The Oldie magazine, is only open to the over-60s. Mr Pates was declared this year’s winner of the £3,000 prize at a ceremony held at London’s Petyt Hall after his work, together with that of nine other finalists, had been displayed at the prestigious Abbott and Holder Gallery.
